Ok I was wondering if it was only me lol. The leather feels like vinyl/rubber, they may as well have put that in here to save money at this point. I wonder how hard it would be to reupholster with nicer leather given the air bags and other sensors embedded with the seat?
Unless you’re making ridiculous power without supporting mods, I’d say engine and tranny will be just fine. More likely to have issues with electronics or other auxiliary parts if this turns out to be similar to most bmws
Ecutek seems to be the best from a performance standpoint but I’ve heard it can only be loaded on a windows computer, loses the license if you ever flash back to stock, and the installation process is very complicated unlike BM3, i watched a video of someone loading the tune and it was quite...
Can someone make this garnish in a smooth, unvented format without those fins? Can be plastic and then just install and paint to match, i think the Supra would look better with those vents designed out of the side profile
Does anybody know what this thing is, and if i can remove it? Thanks! I can post a pic later if you need reference, it’s on the inside of the front windshield
I remember seeing this exact picture and thinking to myself that's what I need! I could probably get it painted to match, if only there was a way to hide/blend the panel gaps between the pillar and roof, and the pillar and the door so it looks more factory. I can dream I guess
Agreed! I kinda miss when cars a-pillars and mirrors were always color matched for a more cohesive look (like the old Supra). First thing i did when i got my premium was buy launch edition caps so it’s all red. But yeah that thick black a pillar has been bugging me for a while haha
I may just call the dealer and ask if they did the recall while i was in for the oil change last month, i can’t seem to find my papers anywhere. Wouldn’t want to invest in a tuning platform then be locked out haha
