Whenever I would like to speculate on prices for upcoming Supra / Z4 I refer to the last Z4 price list. As you can see the most expensive Z4 with DCT was about 48,600 € without tax. The biggest 4 cylinder just 9,500 € lower (with AT).
I think the new Z4 will be a few bucks more, but still...
Maybe they get dismantled, like BMW does with its pre production cars. Lots of them find their end in Eastern Europe, little later you can buy some parts on eBay.

Of course it is. It’s a roadster. Can’t be lighter than the technical same based Coupe. More luxury means more options on interior. First Z3 was too sporty. Last Z4 was too heavy and comfortable. Next Z4 will be best mix of both, sharing parts with the M3/M4.

I do agree with you in most points. But the NSX is not suitable for a comparison in my eyes. It’s a quite different kind of car at a much higher price, so the range of potential buyers is much smaller.
Let’s see what will happen. I would bet the MKV will sell better than every Supra in the past.
