They save money wherever they can, but the prices for customers are getting higher and higher. It’s not the one that buys the car who saves, it’s only the company, maximizing their profits.
I wish you were right, but I don’t believe in it. In my eyes it makes sense test the whole car in its final condition, especially that short before the sales will start. And where is the problem bringing some Toyota parts from japan (or anywhere else in the world) to Munich? There isn’t one. I’m...
As you already can see the A/C controls are different to the Z4. The Z4 has a display between the vents and buttons underneath. The Supra seems to have the older BMW A/C controls, you can already see the knobs to adjust the temperature.
Slow down guys! It’s just the words of an arrogant product manager. I hate what he said and how he did it, but it don’t need to be the truth.
I’m very happy with that new Z4 and I’m sure the MKV will be a really good one too.
But isn’t it all about respect? That’s what I’m missing. If I had a collaboration with someone who talks about the partnership in this way, I won’t ever collaborate with him again.
Yes, it is. Maybe my English is not the best at all, but the words spoken by Ederer are simple and straight.
There are some more curious things he said. What he said about the transmission sounds to me like there won’t be a manual for the Z4. The translation is a little mix of google and mine...
On bimmertoday.de you can find an interview with th Z4 G29 Product Manager Andreas Ederer. It’s not that much interesting, but I was wondering about these two answers on BT-questions:
Full interview can be found here...
Don’t sure this is the right thread, but some official pics of the upcoming Z4 have been leaked:

You're probably right.
SEMA is October 30th till November 2nd, right? What about the Mondial Paris Motor Show in early October? Not the right time and place for a world premiere?
It’s just a guess but...
It’s well known that the upcoming Z4 will make its debut this August 23rd at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Could it be that they will show the new Supra at this event too? I know, California is far away from Michigan, but why not?
We will finally know when both cars are out. Hopefully you are right.
You are damn right man!
I am still guessing who could have been the better partner in this temporary marriage with Toyota. Seriously, what’s your wish for the MKVI?
You are certainly right. I did only compare the leaked interior pictures from the Supra and the Z4 and the controls are looking different to me. Those are used for the Supra remind me to those are used in a few other BMW.
And I’m very sorry about that, but I’m not familiar with Lexus interiors.
I do not contradict you. Since I became an active user in this forum I wrote several times, that this “Supra” is a BMW with different badge. For myself it’s not a problem, but most of the users in here “hate” BMW and need every straw they can grab to make themselves believe, that this car will...
