  1. Official A90 Supra life cycle thread: updates, new variants, 2026 final model year?

So when May come, will they extend it by another 2 months. 😂
  2. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

Seriously, one of my biggest gripe with Honda is with the NC1. It had none of the charm of the NA1. Big, ugly, and overpriced; no wonder it was a massive sales flop.
  3. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

This!!! It's funny to see everyone getting all worked up over nothing lol.
  4. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

Toyota is probably just testing a new drivetrain for the MR2.
  5. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

Yes and no, some of their stories were totally crap and never came to fruition. However, they did accurately depict the following: J300, XF50, J29, and XE30 reskin. X2! Something fun, small, light weight, and affordable; yes please!
  6. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

A few other articles said it will most likely be a hybrid due to tighter EU regulations. But yeah, VW as a whole dropped the ball big time with all the EV investment lol.
  7. Toyota Gazoo Racing World Premieres GR GT & GR GT3

I would also add ugly too the list. IMO, Honda and Toyota failed miserably in the styling department. Both companies had a good starting point with the 2003 Honda HSC Concept and the 2021 Toyota GR GT3 Concept, but sadly they both went the fugly route. :(

Well a lot of people feel that way about J29 in general... jk :p
  10. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

The LC is a beautiful GT inside and out. For me the down side is the price tag. I'm paraphrasing A70TTR, but it's expensive for a parts bin car. Another let down was the lame hybrid V6 that nobody wanted, but they canned the V8 turbo, smh Toyota...
  11. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

But if it takes 5 yrs to develop (via Tada san) then 2030 would still be the targeted date.
  12. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

lol, also wanted to add that I can't see Toyota releasing more than one sports car a year. My guess below: 2026: GT3 2027: Celica 2028: MR2 2029: Supra 2030: 86 I also agree with @C-Pike about the 86 being last. These cars typically have a 8 year + lifecycle. The GR86 came out in 2022 so with...

    Time for a upgrade! ;)
  15. U.S. Press Release: Take One Last Lap in the 2026 Toyota GR Supra MKV Final Edition

Toyota does have their own private test track. This was the reason why there were no spy shots of the 2021 Lexus IS.
  16. Well, finally got one

Congrats! Have fun keeping up with the black paint. ;)
  17. TAS (Tokyo Auto Salon) - Supra Pics

I thought someone was going to bring one with that FT-1 inspired body kit.
  18. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

Same, as it took around 6 years to develop the NSX. Perhaps Toyota has been in development longer as we already have a concept and a test mule.
  19. Toyota FT-Se Concept
