Here in the zona there was a big difference between driving when it was 80-90 then 100+. Even now at night it’s noticeable. More power will raise the IAT’s I see upwards of 150 pulling after 15 minutes of driving. That will pull timing crazy.
Yea understand the variables there, more wondering what people are seeing on full e85 stock LPFP with PI. Trying to gauge the need for a LPFP now or later.
If people are only seeing 600-700 on e40 with fuel pressure drop past e40 on stock lpfp and PI. Then I know I’ll need to do a second pump.
As I just ordered my PI and intake mani, I see a lot of stuff saying stock LPFP will run 700-750hp. Is that full e-85 or a blended mix? Do we know what it will run full e-85? I have a gas station down the road selling e90, would be nice if I don’t have to mix.
I usually only run e40, only time I fill up 91 only is if I am somewhere I can’t get to ethanol.
But it’s not my daily, e40 will inherently lower MPG. As more fuel for the same power level.
Also ethanol can wear out rubber items, so if it’s gonna sit a while they suggest not leaving ethanol in...
No not FTP, CTS, I had to trim down the OEM gasket edges, got it to fit in the groove. Fits nice and snug now. Ordered a new one just in case, maybe it expanded over time
Any one have any issues fitting the OEM intake oring into an aftermarket charge pipe? I tried to swap over the o-ring by the turbo, but it won’t fit in as it’s too thick. But can be put back in the OEM charge pipe with no issues. Is there a different Oring needed?
Slapped on a DAW ultra flow, and started the remote tuning process this last week. Excited to get to 550-600 mark, stock fuel system but ethanol. Next mod will be intake manifold and port injection or axles.
Respect this, looking at jumping into this project myself, although I have the 6 port. I have some TIG experience however, just not with tubular manifolds. Seeing that you used flux, I'd double check the inside welds, if any of that is flaky or splattered its gonna go into the turbo, and that...
Any increase of power will decrease reliability, it was made and given stock power for a reason. Now doesn’t mean the platform can’t handle it, but if you modify it I would never expect same reliability.
