The hood are you sure you're closing it right? You need to drop it with a forceful push to get both sides to latch. You don't need to set up sport mode. It's a click or a button.

The mirror caps should he the same. I think the only difference is one might be heated and the other not. My passenger side has significantly less wiring behind it that drivers side (Canada).
