I also take a dim view of dynos these days. Anyone with a brain and some experience on the platform can get pretty good at guesstimating what kind of power the car should be at with a given setup. Cars are air pumps, and pumps behave in predictable ways if everything is set up correctly.

Really great to see this thread. So many suspension threads devolve into "idk feels ok to me." Which, you know, valuable, but not terribly informative to others.
On the topic of H&R springs, I cannot find hard specifications anywhere. However, they do state (in some listings) that the rates are...
Re-read my post. I wasn't attacking you.
In other news: pretty disconcerted to read that email. While I've been pleased with all of my NVS purchases, the ECU cover seems particularly fragile if so many of us have all had it break in the same spot. It's like the plastic is too brittle for the...
I have almost everything NVS makes for the Supra, and fitment has been exceptional. But this ECU cover seems to be suspicious, because mine also broke in the same spot.

Ambient temp 5C? What are they hiding?
IAT rise on one dyno pull is over 20C and it's practically icebox temperature outside the car. This is not good.
Edit: for comparison, the Remnant manifold has shown a ~6C rise in IAT on a pull, in a ~38C room, on a car that has about the same power in...
I've always found the FT-1 to be very, very ugly. The nose especially looks like a dog that's been stung by a wasp: puffy, bulbous, ungainly. I significantly prefer the final product.
Big turbo Genesis 3.8 owner checking in. Never selling this car. It's what I drive when my Supra is down for mods, since I do my own wrenching. And since this is a Supra thread, the most refent thing I did was take it to a meet, so I got 'er cleaned up on a crisp Texas day.

Correct. The rubber perches ("discs") that the springs sit in/on. They are specifically molded to abut the end of the spring coils, and it's easy to to have the springs not totally snug in those perches. This will allow the spring to rotate in the seat, which causes popping.
