Just to throw one more positive experience out there, I have 3 colors (black, white, and red, that might be all of them), and they're fantastic. I'm extremely particular, even more so about little stuff like this, and I'm absolutely not disappointed. They are every bit as good quality as I...
Yeah, that's the real problem with having a car with so many aluminum panels. Carbon fiber isn't usually going to save you any weight over that, especially if you're adding complexity. And our plastic hatch - I doubt you're losing weight there! There isn't much weight to save in the body panels...
Ah, ok, so you're just being pedantic. Allow me to rephrase that, then - the numbers on the tach are NOT a part of the LCD, and, therefore, the face of that part of the gauge could theoretically be replaced with a different color overlay, potentially even with a different font, which was kiske's...
I don't disagree, and I'm not a fan of replacement gauge faces at all - I was just trying to help clear up what was either a misconception, or a miscommunication.
As for who cares, though, this is literally a thread about 'what parts do we want developed' - so obviously the person who wants...
The numbers for the tach are absolutely not digital, they are printed and backlit, like traditional analog gauges, which is why it's on a raised surface compared to the LCD. Only the blue area in kiske's picture is digital - so, only the center of the gauge, including the needle, are digital...
Dude, you’re being neurotic, stop overthinking it!
yes, what the detailed said is possible, and if it was through the clearcoat, you would know it, and they wouldn’t be able to buff it out.
yes, constantly buffing out every tiny imperfection is eventually going to take its toll on your paint...
Nah, not at all. Right here in South Carolina, there’s no emissions inspection, etc. Feds are starting to crack down on the vendors now, though, which is why companies like Cobb have suddenly changed direction, using GESI cats explicitly CARB approved, etc.
It is, actually, since federal law requires catalytic converters on all petrol cars, and it is also against federal law to modify any functioning emissions control device.
Some states let you get away with it with lax or non-existent emissions inspections, but it is absolutely illegal in all 50...
That's pretty substantial, for only a year. For reference, I've only used my pad a handful of times (only when my battery is really dead, or on a long trip), and I'm at 96% on my 12 Pro (normal size). I would expect the larger phone would be less degraded over a year.
Well, at least new phones...
Haha, I had the same thoughts, every time he hit the paddle, then pulled his fingers away, aggressively, like he's going to win the paddle shifter olympics with that flourish.
I made sure to implement said flourish into my driving habits on my way to Costco. You never know when the coaches...
Not gonna lie, I hate you for posting that.
My thoughts as I watched it:
*Ferrari starts* "Oh wow, that sounds like garbage. Those new engines don't have any of the character of the old ones!"
*Ferrari gets onto the road and starts to rev* "Maybe I'll just unzip my pants."
*Ferrari nearing...
Just put that out there, no one is going to judge you! Haha
Seriously though, I had no idea those things would take up so much room! Makes perfect sense, I just never considered it.
Definitely would not buy from, but absolutely will sell to. I'm in North Carolina, so I've seen them on the news as well - craziness.
A couple of points, though -
1 - They actually tell you about every little chip, scratch, etc. - so it highlights every little issue with a car, most of which...
