Handy hint in no way poking crap at anyone, you never "have to respond", take a deep breath & move on
The number of times I've typed a post & deleted it before posting.......not on this forum BTW
Guys, I learnt the hard way a long time ago on interweb forums
Things are easily taken out of context, every ones opinion is different & it only really matters to them
When the muck starts flying around, even if you are 100% right & the other guy is 100% wrong some of it still sticks to you...
Time will tell how much "better" the 21 will be over the 20
"better" is a subjective thing, we know now the exhaust is quieter & they haven't fixed the wind buffeting
Whether those two things are better of worst features is up to the individual & what they expect from the car
The comparative...
The most interesting one is going to be when the 3.0 goes on a dyno
Then we have a stock 20 vs 21 in real numbers not just advertised ones......
I thought the 2.0 would have had more but have only seen the screen shot in this thread
The 2021 is still louder than my non US 2020
At least you can hear the exhaust note change when you hit the sport button even at idle
Looks like I can change that with BM3, a job for the weekend :)
When you finally get your car you will see the difference between driving aggressively in sport mode & driving nicely in normal mode
Don't get me wrong sport mode is great but I do prefer to go further on a tank of gas than less & certainly wouldn't use sport mode all the time.
With a catted...
Thanks, just ordered all the bits on line locally :)
Now I just have to wait until next Monday for shipping when our lock down level is slightly reduced
With the money you save you can stick a DP, Tune & sway bars on it, have way more power, better handling, get it 2-3-4+ months sooner & have money in the bank, win, win
Yes I think so, mine is the same as yours, it appears the Aussie are the same
I want to try to find out if it can be reprogrammed via BM3 to be the same as the US spec otherwise no point getting a Valved exhaust like a Boost logic if we can't close the valves to make it quieter ????
Its hiding under the front brace
A few pics here, https://www.mst-performance.com/products/ty-sup01
There has been talk of higher intake temps, not sure if that would negate the improvement in airflow or not.
Appears to be an increase in HP, a couple of dyno run videos to show it does...

The air box is a bit of folded metal
It picks up air from both the front of the car & inside the wheel well, so even more air available to it than the factory filter

Mine is the same as the Aussie one
I have BM3 stage 2 tune, the flap still operates exactly the same as Marks one.
IIRC the part number on the muffler is different to the USA one.
I'm concerned that if I get a valved exhaust like the Boost Logic one from the States it won't operate correctly...
It will be interesting to see how the 2.0 goes
The V6 super charged Monaro (GTO) 2002-06 didn't fair so well compared to the standard LS V8 ones.
It looked the same but was lighter, cheaper, slower, quieter & resale value certainly reflected that
At least your dollar is better than ours :(
I got a Wagner catted DP & BM3 tune with bundle, I went stage 2 tune, extremely happy with it.
I may get a custom tune once I get an after market exhaust & another intake out of the States,
Happy with my MST but waiting on a Takeda, I was very...
