I think realistic rather than silly, go back through the thread, the numbers of guys who have said it will be unlocked soon, mate has had his unlocked etc etc etc, still hasn't happened Don't get me wrong I hope it is unlocked, a tune brings so much to this car, but the reality is it hasn't...

Couldn't agree more If they have cracked it why didn't they do their encryption etc first to stop guys reverse engineering it then come out & release it with back to back video's on a couple of platforms to show Guys they can actually do it & you can actually get your car tuned now for X...

I fully understand where they are coming from, having had my products copied all over the place, but I'm starting to smell some BS... I hope I'm wrong for all the owners out there with untunable cars

I need to figure out how to nicely spread the tips/exit pipes apart to closer match the valance exhaust relief centres I have considered heating & quenching but haven't investigated that method further yet I did buy a new valance to replace my melted one some time in the future if I decide to...

My early works fine with the factory clips, with the rear valance not so much :oops:

Am I missing something here ? People are suggesting an ECU from a bespoke factory race car that had a predicted price of $195000 Wouldn't it be much cheaper just to get a stand alone ECU or better still just buy a 2020 if you want to tune it ?

Hopefully it will come in Auto as well so I can get one for my partner :)

Toyota didn't lock them Bosch did, to all the manufactures they supply to, not just Toyota/BMW I'm sure I read somewhere it had something to do with moving towards more automatous cars & making sure they can't be manipulated electronically

IIRC this effects all Bosch ECUs, built after start June 2020 not just the Supra ECU
