Can’t argue with you there....I sold my 350Z one year in of ownership. If the 370Z gets equipped with a more powerful motor with forced induction, it will do much much better. Here’s hoping for the return of the JDM legends.

I thought the same too, like it could be a peripheral of some sort...however, if you look closely, the carbon fiber weave is not on a horizontal axis of reflection...it is on a vertical axis of reflection. In other words, it looks like it's the tunnel side trim. A return of a driver-focused...

I have no idea...but I thought Tada said something along the lines of no exotic materials would be used in the chassis construction to cut costs...but that might not apply to interior?? Someone feel free to chime in on that if they know.

That would be cool if more "real" carbon bits would be in the MKV interior and not the Z4. Throw in some nice OEM Recaro's and it could be enticing...:thumbsup:

I noticed this while watching the Goodwood video (where they open the hood to showcase the engine) and the carbon bit in the interior part caught my attention. Start at 0:18....it's there.

I agree JDMuscle, Toyota made the GT-86 for this exact reason....to cater to the 20yr olds. The Supra is (and has always been) a "gentleman's" sports car...referring to folks in their mid to late 30's and up. 20yr olds in the 80's and 90's had the Celica's, Corolla GT's, and if they had family...

I'd try and find a clean example of a late model 240SX and do a 2JZ swap if you can....I promise you, you will never look twice at any other car. Killer combination, and really brings the S chassis to life....just be responsible about it.

Well, from my experience; version 1 of the CDxxx transmissions had bad synchros, tire cupping issue from front suspension design, rear hatch striker coming loose causing excessive play in hatch, etc... Most of those issues were resolved in the 2006+ models, but for 2003 to 2005 owners...they...

I know that the non-Japanese manufactured Toyota trucks suffer from weak or early rust-through-frames....however, the “J” vin frames have all held up pretty darn well. Google “Tundra frames recall.” This is one of the reasons I am not very happy with the MKV Supra being built outside a Toyota...

Your right, the age (generation) factor is a huge cow it seems....and Toyota is milking that cow hard! It's too bad more potential buyers can't experience the 90's era cars (not just from the outside). I think they would really appreciate the pinnacle of engineering of the Japanese companies...
