Yeah, it's pretty clear you don't understand what I mean when I say "facts." Speculations and office cubicle rumors are not facts, im sorry. So, yes I don't pay attention to that "information that has been offered here."
Has any of this been said by Tada?...or Toyota? If so, show me...
I knew all along that no manual was going to be offered, that was from the horses mouth (Tada). However, I don't remember anyone definitively saying that the auto was a true auto, and not a DCT or SMG. Now, this sucks...
Did I hear one of the drivers say that it's a 8-speed ZF transmission without dual clutches???? So, not only are we not getting a manual, but we are getting a true automatic??? Toyota, you better pull some crazy ass card trick here to redeem yourself....because if this is the only transmission...
Sounds too “diesely.” Not Supra-like.
Guff, my 2007 IS350 had DI and never sounded this loud. Hope this is a pre-production thing that will get ironed out. I hate diesel-like noises from engines....unless its a Cummins.
Well, no one else is posting anything exciting....or cool. It’s become like a god-damn ghost town...lol. Can’t rule out anything at this point, no matter how ludicrous it seems. I am still hoping for an active rear wing.
Yep, I thought the same...probably bare-bones version (aka 4cyl, cloth seats, etc...) starting at $45k.
There better be a manual with the top tier twin turbo model.
Yeah, also I truly wonder if the hatch is open or if it's the cladding. The reason I still question this is because of where the glass line is compared to the rest of the hatch body. They could be testing the different options of hatches available....ones with active aero, ones without.
I don't go through every post on here, so if this is a repost then my apologies...I saw this elsewhere.
Is the test cars' spoiler fake???....by the looks of it, it looks like it is just a fake panel to hide something underneath, like a retractable spoiler similar to the one on the FT-1...
"They" will always be a few steps behind Godzilla. I think it's fair to say that the GT-R was....is....and always will be Japan's "Supercar."
It will be interesting to see what the aftermarket does with the MKV....patiently waiting.
Some nostalgic accessories??
Some info on colors would be nice....a return of my favorite color QSFX with a black and red (or black and tan) interior would be hard to resist. Damn, I'm already getting excited for no reason...I hate this.:banghead:
Curious what that will include...any details? I usually try and avoid first two years of production to allow the manufacturer to work out any bugs or defects.
Yeah....I dunno why, but I'm liking how much material there is between the outer and inner sill. Maybe it's because more material means more rigidity???....regardless, I will take rigidity over weight any day.
Interesting, there is a "First Edition" that will have a bunch of gadgets for the Z4. I wonder if the MKV Supra will have this as well....like some "Anniversary Edition" or a "Launch Edition."
Looks like the fuel filler flap button. Again, I am only throwing a guess out there as I have no idea what the carbon fiber piece is for in the interior. Possibly trim, block off plate, temporary molding for the pre-production cars, etc.... I don't know. I just wish we had some more info on...
