I have an untunable '21, so I'm already behind the curve there. From a drivetrain perspective I've only done a JB+, air filter, downpipe, and exhaust. Judging from the look and sound of his car, he was far from rolling a stock motor. I haven't had problems getting WRX's off the line, even, when...
Nice! Any idea on when you expect to release the product for purchase? I know vendors love to commit to a product release date publicly so us consumers can hound you about it if they're are even a day late. How are you going to change them from the pic above? Do you need a beta tester? ?
You'd think Toyota would put out some kind of notice through its dealer network. Of course that doesn't mean every single shop would read it, but at least they should try something.
There are a lot of 350 and 370Z's in my area and almost without fail they will get on it when I'm out in the Supra. The only other vehicle I've noticed that does the same thing are the Infiniti G35 and G37's. Of course I keep my hands at 10 and 2, looking straight ahead, and maintain a safe...
I found 'em just after I posted the above reply to see if anything new had hit the market since I last checked. I will check 'em out - seems like it may fit the bill, though I'd still prefer a solid chunk of metal or polyurethane (and yes I know what that comes along with). Does anyone by chance...
I am desperate for this component. The only thing I've found is below, and I haven't found someone who has run them before. I would prefer, however, a solid mount, because I am a crazy person.

I'd like to inquire about an expected release date for the motor mounts being prototyped? I've yearned for this part since the day I got the car and could feel how soft the stock motor mounts appear to be. The engine torque when shifting and on sudden power delivery/off power lifting is...
I get the feeling the rifling on the downpipe is like a "vortex" throttle body spacer on the Toyota trucks - i.e., a gimmick. I'd love to hear the sound, however, if you don't mind posting a video?
Yeah, I can see that. In theory, going with SPL components in the front end will make the car have sharper turn-in. It's expensive. I know we have a comrade (or two) on here who has done it that can probably chime in about the cost and how it feels. I did this on a GTI VR6 and it made a sizeable...
Agree on doing the alignment first. I've always thought our cars had excellent turn-in - never felt dull to me. Are you driving in Comfort or Sport? The latter which will make a difference on how the turn-in feels.
Whoops! I got my manufactures confused. I don't know if it was a true N or an N-Line, or even that is was a Sonata. That's what it looked like based on the pics on their website, but honestly most of their cars look the same, they're just different sizes. Based on it's performance, if it wasn't...
Not a Stinger, but I raced a Kia Sonata N Line the other day. We gunned it maybe from about 55mph into the 120mph's. I was only pulling on him a touch. No way it was stock, as I should have walked away from him at speed. The Kia performance line (N Line) cars are quick, especially when tuned...
Yeah, further justification for buying a JB4. I posted about buying the JB+ before I got it and someone recommended that I just get the JB4 as I'm going to end up with it anyways. I guffawed. Turns out they were right. :D
Does it really increase torque that much? Running the simple JB+ as I didn't want to muck about with anything, rather waiting until the tunes come down in price. With those kinds of gains, though, and the pricing not looking like it's going to drop soon, I may pull the trigger.
Howdy! It is still available. I'm not looking for a trade at this point as I'm running the stock intake system with am aftermarket air filter. None of the aftermarket intakes will fit on the vehicle because of some other parts I have installed. I'm happy to negotiate price, though! I am more...
