Oh yeah, I'm not putting anyone down. Software development is a gap in my skill set I always wish I had addressed earlier in my career. I like to fuck with our developers just like I enjoy fucking with anyone on my team. ?
100% agree. I had initially immediately discounted the Supra because of the way it looked when shopping for fun cars having never seen one in person. Went to go buy a Highlander, they had one on the lot, I gave it a good once over, drove it, and was sold. The back end on it is just so, so good...
I, personally, value my developers as contributing members of the team and experts in their field.
...was that convincing? I practice it every morning in the mirror.
Just to note, mine was also missing when I received my exhaust back in '21. AWE sent me the part and an additional complete hardware kit (just to be safe) right away. This stuff happens and they corrected it quickly. Could not have been happier with the service and the product.
Is the beeping more faint than you hear in this video?
When the car is running, can you hear it when standing outside?
EDIT: Where I'm going with this is you may have a tag along. Check your passenger compartment (including the boot) for anything that looks out of place. Check under the hood...
I know this protects against dings and chips, but in my state, all forward-facing glass is covered by insurance for "free." It has to be a big chip for them to replace is as opposed to a crack, which is automatic, but you may want to check your insurance policy to see if you have something similar.
Any update on this @SooopraSD? Again, I'd gladly pay you for access to the CAD file and would agree not to share it in any capacity (with the minor exception of the following). I have a friend with a CNC machine and several large chunks of aluminium. He said he'd be happy to carve some of it up...
I looked into this as well before I bought a dongle for xHP, and from what I could find, the circles don't overlap in the Venn diagram of supported dongles between Bimmercode and xHP. Which is unfortunate not only because it means more dongles and more money, but also that it's a Venn diagram...
How many miles were on your car when you did this? I had about a liter of oil consumption in the first 3k miles with mixed street/track use. Nothing from then on out to the about 6k I'm at currently. That being said, I have purchased and will be switching to LiquiMoly 5w30 within the next couple...
Haha! I feel ya. I had initially considered doing solid aluminum subframe bushings along with the trans, and likely would have if they had made it in time for the work that was done (came from across the pond). But it gave me some time to reconsider, and I decided that was probably where I...
