Given the choice would you do your own oil change or have the free complementary oil change done at the dealership?
What has been the experience at the dealership with regards to complementary service and do you recommend I do the oil change myself?
Engine knock..rings and valves..pre-detonation..stick with what the manufacturer reommends as a few extra cents per gallon will save you money in the long term.
Since Toyota Care comes with 2 free oil changes Is it 10,000 miles or 1 year? What happens if you wait until you reach 10,000 (5,000, in my case) and it takes you 2 years to get there. Do you lose your future "free" Toyota Care oil changes?
No offense but I wouldn't be too sure that it wouldn't throw a CEL. There are a few forum members on here who installed Catted downpipes and still got a CEL.
