I’m aware of how to set ride height. In my case the front sit higher than the rears by 1/4” using Ohlins specs. The rear wheel gap is perfect but the front has a noticeable gap (2 fingers vs the rear 1 finger) and there is a noticeable reverse rake look if you look long enough. My shocks are...
I had the ride height the way I wanted it (lowered 1/4” more than what Ohlins settings calls for) but the springs are not supported at full extension. On big bumps they were coming out of their seats. Want to add helper springs so they stay in their seats.
Thinking adding some helper springs to the front. Eibach makes some and there are some Ohlins ones but from over seas. What size should I be looking for?
You can unplug it from the exhaust with no CEL. Just make sure the flap is open before you do. You’ll get a soft code if you pull codes but it will not light up your dash. Have been running like this for almost 3 years between my M4 and the Supra.
Running 91 oct Stage 2 with catless dp on my 2020. No issues. Had an issue with 93 Oct map hitting transmission torque limits. 91 is plenty fast for me and gives me a bit of a margin.
Anyone in the area riding on KW V3, Ohlins or even KW DDC?
Looking to see how they ride on the street. I have Ohlins on my E92 M3 and had them on my RS4 and they are awesome but would like to get a feel for them (or any of the aforementioned ones) before I pull the trigger.
Edit:
Disregard...
Bringing this back up since I’m considering getting some Ohlins.
Did you ever figure out the front springs and we’re you able to lower the car a bit more?
I got it because to me, that area looks unfinished. I feel like something is missing on that area. This isn’t really what I was looking for but it does looks better than nothing. I didn’t want to go gloss because I believe there would be too much glare. It also matches my matte steering wheel...
If you know someone near you with BM3, it does give you the option to reset adaptation of throttle body. Not sure if it can be done with bimmerlink but wouldn’t be surprised if it could. But also look at your wiring and make sure there aren’t any leaks like mentioned above
