I know this is the wrong group for this argument. But I have to say this...
If you're building up your daily driver for fun on the road then get a highflow catted downpipe. I know they are more expensive -- but you bought a 55k toy and you can sell the OEM one for a little bit. The catless...
The Supra is a halo car; how much it sells itself is almost irrelevant. Rather the question is if the Supra helps consumers visit Toyota before Nissan. And Nissan rolling out a new Z is your answer.
Lack of communication, delay in communication, or anything not factual is not reasonable for a retailer or manufacturer. These aren't trinkets being sold -- these are $1000+ orders that should be treated with respect.
But saying that, I assure that fulfillment is a complex process. As...
I'm gonna ask a stupid question, but since no one has chimed in...
Are you sure the trunk is actually closed? I know, it's ridiculous. But if the trunk has been opened but is left down then opening and closing a door will cause a little air pressure to tug down on trunk. So the trunk will...
Never seen a bedazzled downpipe... :)
"With heat shield"
Is that a wrap? Never thought you were suppose to wrap street car headers. Race cars and draggsters were ok because of limited milage and high frequency of maintanance. Will the wrap hold moisture and increase oxidation and rust?
:)
I was asking about something similar a couple of months back. There was a forum member or two that use something like this... No personal experience myself but the side and front lip seem plenty tall to keep stuff from sliding in normal driving...
Trying to tie my cars look together, I'm staring at the back of the car likes its missing something. I see the A91 spoiler and am jealous.
The distributor for Texas only seems to bring in A90s with the ridiculously overpriced carbon fiber mirror covers. As much as I paid for the stupid...
Fun and price are not linearly related. Price grows exponentially while fun is linear.
Look back down the food chain and ask if 25-30k car is more/less/equal to 1/2 half fun of a Supra. I don't think the accountant will like the answer. Same is true up the food chain.
Buy the car you...
"Good-win-racing.com "
I miss this site. I even got Brian to give me a test drive of his wife's supercharged ND. Being from Dallas, I'm not used to entrance ramps in San Diego. Combine this with a champion autox driver in a car he's built for the express purpose of selling me $5000 of...
My last thread got like 2 views and 1 response. Thought I'd sell this one a little more :)
As others have said, "quid pro quo" and "ask for forgiveness" works. There is also the tried and true "but they broke". Go to a car meet, act like you drive a mustang, hit a curb, buy new wheels. :D
Good question, I debated it a good bit. Due to the risks of powder coating, I opted to spend a little more with hope that higher price begets higher quality. So $200 a wheel. Let's see if the wheels hold up :)
... until I powder coated mine. Night and day. I highly recommend.
Finished my debadging project as well. Opted to roll sans GR badge. Just need to get the color matched blanks for the front orange reflectors.
Hmm... I guess I could just pop it off and be done with it. Both the 2.0 and 3.0 have the GR badge right? I wouldn't look like I have the lesser car would I?
Howdy,
I'm blacking out all my badges and have gotten to the GR badge. Anyone remove the GR badge and can let me know it's 100% glue and no pins? All the others have pins if for nothing else than to locate properly. If there's no pin then how can one put replace the badge accurately? I...
