Replacing Rear GR Badge

Howdy,

I'm blacking out all my badges and have gotten to the GR badge. Anyone remove the GR badge and can let me know it's 100% glue and no pins? All the others have pins if for nothing else than to locate properly. If there's no pin then how can one put replace the badge accurately? I would presume you might tape around oem badge while it's still on the car. But maybe there's a smarter way...

I'm also having problems sourcing a suitable replacement. Only real source is ebay and honestly ebay car parts, even badges, scare me. Anyone got a line a good GR replacement badge that is either all black or can be plasti dipped black?

No pins on the GR badge. Easy to remove. Using a little painters tape to mask off is an easy way to ensure proper fitment. I got my replacement from this seller: CustomCarbonEmblems (by Carbon Emblems) - Etsy

The official Toyota part number for the badge is 75430WAA01. It is pricey though, at $75. An aftermarket one might be a better choice for the money.

Just keep in mind that a lot of the aftermarket (eBay) GR emblems are flat on the back. The OEM one is slightly curved on the back from top to bottom to match the bumper's shape.

Yes they both have the badge...but I personally would not buy the 2.0 lol

Fun badges. I opted to roll sans badge. It adds a balance I didn't realize it was missing.

Yeah I removed the GR and Supra badging before I even left the dealer… I know what I’m driving.

The first mod with every car I buy… clean up the ass end. Less is more.

And yes the dealer bracket went away when I installed my rear plate.
