Did you check Penticton Toyota (https://www.pentictontoyota.com/vehicles/2021/toyota/gr-supra/penticton/bc/fzinvb82fggcc2r3) or West Coast Toyota (https://www.westcoasttoyota.com/new/Toyota/2021-Toyota-GR+Supra-6d52d87b0a0d0cc725deecc204c15e31.htm)? They both appear to have one.
My Supra was totalled with an estimated $41k CAD in repairs vs. a depreciated value of $65.5k CAD. I got my settlement cheque today for the price I paid for the car plus what I paid for aftermarket PPF, ceramic coat, and window tint. Now I'm back on the waiting list for my second 2021 3.0 in...
Which dealer quoted $2,600 for a hood? They must've been trying to screw you. Toyota's MSRP for the hood is $1,418.42, and many dealers sell it cheaper online. For example, https://toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com/oem-parts/toyota-hood-53301waa01 has it listed for $929.50.
I agree. I know extended warranties are intended to be a profit centre for the manufacturer, but I decided to purchase the Toyota ECP Platinum plan (the Canadian equivalent of the US Toyota VSA Platinum plan) because it seemed priced for a Toyota, not a BMW. I never actually bought it, though...
Yeah, they seem really good in terms of not getting the occupants killed. Unfortunately, they also seem to be magnets for collisions.
Oops, wait, you said you didn't want to see the other guy! ;)
My 2021 3.0 lasted only three weeks before being t-boned by a red light runner today:
I really hope it's totalled out because I can't imagine it ever being right again after that.
The Supra has poor visibility when backing up and poor visibility when changing lanes. Neither should be much of an issue because of the backup camera, and, if you have the driver assistance package, the rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring. (All the Supras here in Canada have the...
I believe the expensive Supra oil is 0W20 API SN ACEA C5. My understanding is that ACEA C5 is mostly about lower high temperature viscosity and lower SAPS (sulphated ash, phosphorus, and sulphur).
Carbonio no-drill front license plate mount:
The mount is adjustable. Here it's set to its minimum extension and a slight backward tilt. The mount isn't a perfect fit for the Supra -- it includes a hook that's too shallow to fit over our grilles -- but I think it'll be okay.
2021 Supra in British Columbia, Canada: $697 for the ICBC minimum liability insurance plus $963.56 for BCAA optional insurance with $1,000 deductible, comprehensive, collision, an additional $1.8 million liability, "Preferred Driver Package", and "Replacement Cost Plus". The ICBC term is 1 year...
Car and Driver's graphs have different x axis ranges for the 2020 vs. 2021, and it looks like you didn't correct for that in your overlay. I noticed because I made the same mistake on my first attempt to merge the two graphs. After correcting, here's what I got (posted earlier upthread):
The...
According to Magna Steyr, 2021 Supra production is starting up again on Monday, which is good news for those of us (like me!) waiting for ours:

Those are Canadian cars. For example, that one Carfax link shows the car was first registered in Quebec. In Canada we didn't get any LEs, but the red interior is an option on our Premiums (with the exception of Renaissance Red).
