Sadly they are integrated into the head/manifold so upgrading them will be very costly. Stock inducer size is like a 35mm that's why they dissappear above 4000RPM. Tunes for Nissans are cheap but paying 7 to 10k just to reach the stock fuel system 500whp limit is a little expensive:/
If I recall the Nissan press conference back in November it was not built with a unique suspension or custom drive train. It was supposed to be cheap but idk if I'd pay 60k for one if the Supra with a 6 speed is available....I doubt anyone would pay the high markups like they did for the GR...
I liked the car without the new interior colors but I suppose it will be in the luxury price range of Porsche. The old wheels looked fine but a new suspension is welcome news. A few hundred bucks for a new clutch should be easier to tune for compared to the automatic when it slips. I was hoping...
Edited. It's not very good oil if it's breaking down at 270. We test modern oils and the best have no issues over 300 degrees. Heck mobile 1 didn't start to break down until over 440 or so...
285 35 the tires should look spot on. 295 slightly bubbled but look good on 10.5s. These are less sticky than the R888 but also much safer if you ever run into light drizzling or rain (horrifying experiences). Slightly quieter too. Tire pressures rise about 7 psi during regular highway driving...
These all look great so I'm guessing nobody gets pulled over and fined for non OEM tint? A couple years ago it was illegal where I lived. Worst fine I've ever paid aside from crossing a double yellow line too early to enter a turning lane:/
Alignment and make sure you have the proper PPE and a fire extinguisher just in case. It's hot now and if you went into high dry grass it does catch fire easily
Odd question but what happens if you're on the side of the road and need a tow and the car won't start. Is this the only option? Seems like it could be dangerous in inclement weather or on tight mountain roads :/
Some of us drive 40 to 80mph with the windows down. It just depends on the weather and where you live. If I lived in Florida where it's humid I'd use the AC but I prefer the wind to climate control. Especially the last few weeks when it's 20 degrees in the morning and 50 during the day. Window...
I don't have a dog in this fight, aside from combating misleading information. It works extremely well and I've never experienced any meaningful downsides and I've yet to find anyone that has first-hand. As far as the plugs being tinted, anyone doing the things that necessitates higher octane...
Not sure how "safe" it is if it destroys your cats and O2 sensors. The manufacturer states it's for off road use for this reason. Use too much on a stock car and the exhaust system will be affected. Otherwise for catless cars and those used on the track it's perfectly fine. It does work quite...
