I put the Cusco strut supports on mine today. I didn't think I would notice much difference as the frame etc, are already so stiff. I do. It is more exact and just plain feels different, in a positive way. It also looks far better than the cheap version above.
I push my car hard, going into corners at over 20 mph!
And got them installed but the directions are in Japanese so had to use a translator but no torque figures!
And my wife is very excited! She didn't even ask what this was for but saw the discarded plastic bags and was all grins as she used...
I pretty much agree, though it depends upon the towers etc. And then the sway bar can change other things about the suspension and that isn't always considered but needs to be.
Nah, I don't care. 1st day I did but you know what, life is short, get over it and enjoy what you have. Don't like it, sell your car or trade it in. We all know that the 1st year can be just that, them putting their toe in the water and see what needs to be done!
They told me they put a new battery in but then I found out, when I pushed for a confirmation, that they had cleared the code and charged the battery. It wouldn't start on the showroom floor. I wasn't there when it wouldn't start, and happened to be told about the issue, which I imagine, they...
I signed it but not a whiny baby, just in the morning. lol I enjoy mine and don't really care but if something were to happen, at least I did something. Investment? That would be very, very poor reasoning. My FJ Cruiser, turned out to be more of that, loosing almost no value but I didn't buy it...
Mine had it before I bought my car. I was told the battery was replaced then when I bought the car, after a week or so, I asked for the documentation that the battery had been replaced and they said it had been charged up. I said I was told it had been replaced. . . and so it went, excuses and...
Did a 3 inch lift on my FJ and related changes to spacers, etc.. No effect on the warranty. The Cusco brace uses the exact threaded, and one unthreaded holes already on the car for the brace placement. No modification at all.
I am enjoying the hell out of mine. Getting more comfortable driving it, and with some break-in, it is also getting smoother. Have the front strut tower braces coming tomorrow (Cusco).
BS. Something is wrong, something is draining the battery and the dealer here in Tucson, in writing, said the battery was covered under warranty.
I would make sure that you have checked the turn vehicle off, when you leave it and if you lock it, even in your garage, it turns everything off.
The small triangle was coming on because the car had been set to a max of 4mph and anything about that triggered the triangle (small one). So went to the dealer, they figured this out (their super tech that works on the Supra) in a couple of minutes, set it to 165 and all is good. Easy fix but...
Just came back from the dealer where I bought my 2020. They were also very surprised by the update and not totally happy, as they have a 2020 there and more coming and, the owner bought 2 2020 units. :^) Though he can sell them easily and is quite well off.
