Sorry to hear this. Kinetic tuned my jb4 map6 for me about 3 months ago. While i was getting it tuned, Sean sold me on getting the trans tuned via xHP. I paid them $500 for what I thought was a license. They flashed my supra with the stage 3 tune using their shop license and called it a day...
Sold out... ordered directly from pro tuning freaks and they said a 3 week wait. It's been just about 3 weeks and they said they are still waiting on a few components to finish the kits.
Really just piece of mind. No matter what happens to the 2019 dme, I'll always have my original in stock configuration. right now I only have 6k miles on the car and if I run into something where I need to take it in for warranty work. removing the bolt-ons and swapping the dme is easy...
If I understand how this works... big if. I should never have the problem of not being able to get to baseline. I'm having my 2022 dme unlocked then cloned to an unlocked 2019 dme. The 2022 dme will never get "tuned" so will always have my "baseline" on it. The 2019 dme will get BM3 loaded...
I bought a brand new EOS mani from @Jakester and couldn't be more happy with it. If you're worried about the condition, it's exactly as he describes... based on previous interactions.
Kind of. With a 22', i took the JB4 route and have loved it. All said i think it cost me 700ish for the unit w/BT and phone app. And another 400 for some dyno sessions and a map6 tune... not Jesse but wish I would have. Low end throttle response isn't the best.
Any way, call it 1,100. I'm...
it seems a phenolic spacer would be advantageous for any aftermarket mani. What am I missing? I have an EOS that I'm waiting to install and wondering if a phenolic spacer would help with IATs.
If these 23' numbers are in the ballpark of being correct, what did they change between the 21'/22s and the 23' model years? I know what changed between 20' and 21'/22', and the resulting differences in whp.
I get it that no two dynos are the same but I haven't seen any stock 21'/22' put...
The boost can be different. It depends on what values the tuner programs in. In my case, it seems the tuner has me at 4.1 to 5.1 PSI over base depending on gear and if I'm in WOT. This roughly translates to boost between 19-21 PSI under full throttle. I know there's only 1 PSI difference...
