What's up guys n gals...
Hoping someone might be able to tell me where I may be able to buy a replacement key fob?
Went furniture shopping the my wife Saturday n the the fob must have fallen out my pocket...we searched the store multiple times n came up empty...
Our 2 local Toyota dealers are...
Sounds like you may be on the brakes to long...maybe causing some glazing?
Should be applying the brakes quick n hard up to right before abs kicks in....
I had no problem with stock pads n stock fluid bring the supra down from 150...braking at 3 for a 85mph turn 1...
The long pedal travel...
I like the way the Maxton kit looks...
I personally do not like the red strip but that's me...
I also think carbon fiber is played out...
I would lose the red n keep the maxton kit..
But each his own...
Where'd you purchase the kit from?
What was the wait time?
TIA
Steve
DO NOT ADD A HARNESS TO A FACTORY SEAT!!
I know alot of people do it but it's not safe...
The belts would not sit squarely on your shoulders because they would have to come around the seats at an angle...
The webbing in the belts are not made to be stretched in that direction if something should...
You can see the discoloration in the carbon fiber...
It brown vs the grayish color its suppose to be...
The Borla name was white now it's brown?
This is the second set that this has happened to...
This set has about 1500 miles on them...
I haven't found a lot complaints about this issue?
Seems...
You can see in the pics how black the exhaust pipes are..
This is with about a 170 miles since the last time I washed them..
You can see in the 1 pic where I rub my finger on it...the soot doesn't feel dry...almost oily...
Maybe it's normal n I'm just noticing now because my cars seems to be...
Car has less the 200 miles since my last wash and the exhaust pipes are completely black with soot...
Toyota has pictures and ask that I don't wash the tips for the next 1000 miles or so...
Steve
Yes the tips are clean..the brown/burnt look is not dirt..
This is the second borla exhaust...
The Borla rep that I've been in contact with said he personally has not seen the issue on the carbon fiber tips..
Steve
Not a great pic but you can see how the carbon in the tips have turned brown..also the copper color metal use to be black..
This pic is the original Borla...
The replacement exhaust looks just as bad if not worse ...
Don't see alot of soot because I keep my car pretty clean..
