You are absolutely right...eye of beholder...
When looking for a car to replace my wifes Jaguar XFS we looked at the infinite red sport...we thought that car was built pretty cheaply compared to other brands in the segment...
NO WAY is Nissan building the Z with better quality parts then...
Ground is level...I check the oil in the same place at the foot of my driveway every time...
I do wish it was an incline/decline issue or even a sensor issue...
Just don't think that's gonna be the case..we'll see what Toyota has to say though...
Steve
I agree 100%...when manufacturers start doing it, it's no long cool...
Black wheels...matte paint..the list goes on...
N to much carbon fiber turns a nice car "ricer"...
But each his own...
Steve
Yeah you're probably right...not really looking forward to the hassle involved...
At this point it is what it is..
Maybe I'll trade the Supra for a new Z....Hahaha...NEVER!!
Steve
So officially got my 3rd low oil warning today at 4091 miles...
First at 2516...
Second at 3209...
Third at 4091...
Seems like alot of oil but I'll take it into Toyota for them to top and document...
Still love the car though?
Steve
Haha...
I think if you manipulate the spring a little so everything lines up and the spring doesn't touch the exhaust walls when opening n closing you'll be good...
Best of luck..
Steve
Does the his require a fixing bow/spring to open in close the valve?
On my borla I had to actually bend n compress the oe spring in order for everything to line up?
Steve
I think some exhaust manufacturers require the valve to be in the open position before disconnecting...
Not sure if that's the case with this particular exhaust?
I would not force the actuator as it'll probably break it..
Steve
Then it turns into the likes of the Mustang..Camaro...Charger/
Challenger...it'll be just a run of the mill car...
Everyone has 1...NO THANKS!
BTW...no way a Z that can compete with the 3.0 Supra is going to be 40k...
Media n manufacturers marketing definitely have a way of hyping things up...
Isn't the Z getting the motor out of the infinite red sport?
If that's the case the red sport isn't overly fast...
I personally don't see the draw to the Z...just dont think it looks that good..and the materials used will definitely be of lesser quality..
Just my opinion...
Steve
Does anyone know if the mounting points for this wing is exactly the same as the Aimgain wing?
Meaning the hole drilled into the hatch area...
TIA
Steve
