Go on you man..sounds like you got it going on?
I'm with ya though let me spend my money on car parts...I can eat beans from a can 5 days a week...lol
Steve
Btw..the blue calipers does look good with the yellow but I'm with @nibble,high temp caliper paint or powder coat...
Dude. Definitely know the feeling..
Fortunately I'm not a broke college student and have a semi successful small business..
But I have 3 cars that need love..
My wifes Lexus RCF
Daughters BMW 435i
N of course my Supra
This is definitely worse then any drug you could take..Hahaha
But...
Don't know if this helps but ..
I just ran in group 4 at Robling Road Raceway on stock pads and fluid...on the front straight I was seeing close to 150 n had no problems slowing the car for the 85ish turn 1 entry...
The one thing that was/is unsettling is the very long pedal travel...
Compared...
Think that would look pretty killer...
Definitely set off the yellow..
I'm considering doing my calipers in the blue stitching (Telltale blue)of my a91 nocturnal which I think is pretty close to that your blue..
Would love to see pics if you decide to do your calipers...
Steve
Looks good...
Wonder how much of the feel is placebo? Considering you were disappointed in the factory braces once power coated...
Not saying the brace didn't improve anything just curious..
I really like the blue in the engine bay against the yellow...looks good...I would've never thought...
You'd be surprised how many !@#hole people there are...
Someone just recently keyed the side of my wifes Lexus RCF...
Yes they didn't damage there own car in the process just the point there are a bunch of dbags running around...
As for the OP looks like maybe a run away shopping cart?..
Steve
Sorry not the greatest pics..but you can see the sidewall over hang the rim...and the tire is to bubbly for what I like...
I stayed with Michelin pilot sports..
Grip is better then the 275 but still likes to spin in first n second before hooking...
Steve
I have a 295/35 on stock wheels and I personally think a 295 is to big for the stock wheels...the tire side wall over hangs the rim a little to much for my taste...
I couldn't imagine a 305 or 315 fitting/looking right on stock wheels...way to much sidewall over the rim..IMO?
I also think a 35...
I wonder it that'll keep the exhaust temps up long enough to burn the resin?
I noticed mine after being on a road coarse for extended periods of time...
Either way I love the exhaust itself but a little disappointed in the carbon fiber tips..
Steve
The jb4 is reversible..it can be completely removed..
A flash tune actually rewrites your ecu..
Pretty much permanently..
I'm sure plenty of people with unlocked ECU's run jb4 as it's easily removable..
Steve
I would guess in comfort mode just cruising it's about the same as stock...press the gas and it's alittle louder than stock(5-10%)...
In sport just cruising it probably 10% louder...at full throttle I'd same 30-40% louder than stock...
The pop n bangs are definitely more than stock on my 21...
I would show the authorities it's fixed....n off it'd come...lol...
But I never needed a system for a front plate...I live in a free state..haha..jk..
Good luck
Steve
Well that's kinda silly...haha...
I wonder if there's an upgraded model at this time?
Guess Toyota gambled on the replacement not having the same issue..
Honestly if it comes down to replacing the engine I don't think I really want that but unfortunately I'll have very little say in what type of...
