Dealer ask that I bring my car back to them today...they are trying to do a oil consumption test...
They taped up the oil cap and the wiring to the ecu...not really sure what this is for but apparently Toyota corp is requiring these steps..
Another thing I have noticed is my exhaust tips are...
I'm originally from the Adirondacks(queensbury) in NY..
Yes...some of the roads going from my hometown into Vermont where pretty epic...
But from what I remember as a teen driver up there is northern mountain roads aren't the best maintained...

I'm guessing with the pad replacement it's probably been tracked...but I know a few people had a problem with noisy brakes so could've been replaced for that reason..
If it has been tracked who cares it's relatively low miles..still under warranty...
Not sure on the price..I haven't kept up with...
Agree 100%...
don't worry about anything other then a helmet and having fun..
No need to worry about car set other then good tires as @nibble said..
Do bring a quart of oil just encase..
Drink lots of water the day before and lots of water the day of...believe it or not driving on track is...
I agree with this...
Except the spoiler/wing...if you put holes in your hatch n end up with electrical issues they could potentially blame it on leaking on to certain modules the are located in that area...
I think dealerships/ car manufacturers will try n find any and everything the can to...
At Toyota today...
Telling me I need to have an appointment for them to document any issues...what BS...
Anyways they ran Diagnostics and topped me up...
The service manager and the supra tech both told me Toyota knows it's an issue...
Dealership can't do anything without corporate...
I personally would love to see Norris in a Mercedes...I think he's a good driver...
I agree I think Russell maybe a little overhyped...good driver none the less...
I doubt any team will sign Bottas
(if Mercedes doesn't resign him)regardless...he's just to inconstant..
IMO of coarse ?
Steve
1 last thing...
The team didn't put him anywhere...all weekend he was running mid pack..obviously I don't know what the qualifying outcome would've been if he wasn't sent out first to give the tow but according to all the practice sessions, imo it wouldn't have made a huge difference in his...
Unfortunately it goes further then those 2 races...
He's had a lot of opportunities to finish high in the points or to even win races...he makes a lot of mistakes...
Yes I agree the team puts Hamilton first most times but it's Bottas' job to match or beat him...signing the contract with Mercedes...
I do not believe Bottas will be resigned with Mercedes...
He seems to pout when thinks aren't going his way...he seems to just lie down...yes Mercedes do seem to screw him more then not but he just doesn't have that killer instinct that's needed to be a great driver...
Steve
Btw..I rooted for...
