This is my first car with the 2 piece setup. Couldn’t the rotor itself just be replaced and reuse the hat? I think that’s what it’s called, right? Is install any different/harder than replacing any other typical rotor? I’ve done many brake jobs on my previous cars so I know how to do that...

Yeah that’s what I think too. They don’t look or feel cheap in an expensive car. I’ve had Weathertechs inside my Highlander and Santa Fe SUV’s and they are perfect for those, but not a sports car IMO. Though after I got these for the Supra I immediately bought a front and rear set for the Santa Fe.

Here’s how mine look with them installed. I love these mats and think they look much better than Weathertechs. I’ve had mine for 10 months and they still look new but I only have about 1700 miles on it.

That’s good to know! Yeah that looks great and we have the same color car too so I know it will look awesome! Thanks for the heads up on the installation. I asked NV Specialties about that and they recommended crows foot wrenches so I’ll pick up some of those.
