yo man, I think we chatted on Reddit actually. If you didn’t get it sorted, check the MSS install video. They approach the rear totally different. Fast forward to 16:00.
Just some random pictures of bronze / gold wheels and color calipers. I don't like most of these and didn't think how much bronze wheels clash with color calipers! Maybe the move is to go Orange or Black and do a simple Supra or GR logo?
Going to yank the calipers off for paint or powdercoat and am torn on a color! The only colors I will say NO to are Red and Black. I do run the 23' OEM wheels which will look great with anything, but the current setup is Bronze Apex wheels. Also, I am poor and could only afford the base model...
I would normally rip right into it, but the shop who did the work is going to resolve the issue. Probably a simple oversight as the car doesn't make any of the typical issues we see on the a90 when lowering. Just bummed out that its so nice out and I can't drive it.
I thought the noise was from the front passenger side but with the video it almost sounds like its both front side on the front? Heck it could be the rear.
Local speed shop just installed Whiteline lowering springs and I drove about a mile home and noticed a clicking / ticking when driving straight. NO NOISE when turning or bumps, but getting the weirdest noise just rolling along. Car is gonna be trailered back to the shop, but any idea what this...
Agreed! I was torn between the two kits and seems you can’t go wrong!
Cheap eBay CF kit. Was like $190 shipped. Best fitment I’ve seen. I must have lucked out. :)
I recently did whiteline springs on my 2023. While I swapped wheels as well, I feel like the stance is close between the two. Have my best comparison photo here.
My Supra and some lifted, beat to piss Subaru wagon with big tires that I can drive all winter and not give a damn about it while the Soup hibernates
**like this, but not as nice, this one is super clean
Do you have a link to the cabin air filter? how tough was the swap, should probably do mine!
Did you grab the liquimoly anywhere specific for the best price?
Is the hand wash the factory 0w-20
Lowered it on Whiteline springs. Apex wheels. Conti 295/35&265/35 tires
gonna drive for a few days, alignment next week and I’ll do a more in depth review.
Keep us posted! You will love it! No reason to go catless anyways; plenty of power, no smell and no CEL with the AA DP. Again, check my profile if you want the videos.
**I will say, try the downpipe first. You will get some noise and a nice bump of power! Highly recommend.
