Can also do that! Just weird that mine threw a CEL! Like I said, went AWE and their little device that tricks the motor works perfectly.

Same as everyone else. Bought a pack of mini fuse pullers on Amazon! Came right out. Car lasted maybe 200-300ish miles and then threw a CEL for the exhaust flap error. Ended up going AWE exhaust anyways and just hooked everything back up to avoid codes.

I live way up in NH. Rare to see a day above 90 here and winter can obviously be quite cold. Nothing compelling to go contrary to the recommendations of Toyota just yet! I did my break in oil change with the OEM 0-20 oil and filter. I may switch at a later date to a 0-30 or 5-30 but living...

AWE touring isn’t the best price, performance or fit but god damn it sounds good. I wouldn’t buy anything else for this motor.

AWE Touring is just so damn good. I’m blown away every time I drive. I liked the Injen. I love the non res touring with the AA catted DP.

Pull the fuse! I can’t say that you won’t get a CEL, but just pull the fuse. Once you’ve visibly seen to switch to sport and open the flap, yank the fuse. You won’t ever have that issue again.

Contact Burger directly? Maybe you can explain this is for your race-car only and will NOT be used on the street

Just do something simple like the Burger open intake on the stock box. No sense in spending tons of $$, especially when you upgrade the exhaust down the line. If I could do it again, I would keep the stock intake and just spend my time and $ doing the downpipe!
