Also ordered the JB4 and am going to trade the JB+ in. At max the car did feel like it had a big power surge. If I kept everything stock and the dial at the factory setting for the JB+ I would be thrilled. But I’d like a smoother throttle and safer map (going with a Jesse dabears tune)!

Sounds like someone installed an intake with the stock exhaust, maybe a high flow downpipe? This is how most of them sound FYI. Was hoping your *(results) was going to be dyno/draggy etc, not the noise that they all make.

No track. CEL for I take manifold pressure which BMS said can happen. Cleared the code and hasn’t come back.

A bit more potential? So you’re saying they do the exact same thing unless I add more? Or the same thing until custom tune? I love the JB+ power, throttle just feels weird/jerky sometimes.

It’s great! I did them at the same time honestly and it made a big difference. Throttle is absolutely jerky and not smooth, but a lot more power.

I would love to scrap the burbles altogether. I love my high flow cat and unresonated Touring exhaust except the burbles are a bit too much.

@zrk is the JB4 worth it over the JB+ on the standard setting? Love the car with downpipe and JB+. Worth it going JB4?

Base model upgrades? I wish. I got a downpipe and AWE touring exhaust. Beautiful with the windows down and doesn’t drown out the horrid stock stereo with them up.

Just spoke with Burger Motorsports and they replied with ‘Try clearing the code and let me know if it returns. On some vehicles with certain ECU versions it can pop up at the higher dial settings.’ very quick to reply! Will do exactly that.

Ah, I see another post on here about the gas cap being a possible culprit? Weird for ‘pressure too high’. Reset code and re tightened the gas cap. *also had an error for pulling the exhaust fuse out once I was in sport mode. Maybe that was the CEL? Was lazy and didn’t install the AWE piece to...

2023 basic bolt ons; AA catted DP, MST V2 intake and a JB+. Scanned with BimmerLink and saw this code: I did have a check engine light, car runs great. Would this be due to the JB+? Once I installed the DP I did increase the dial to Max (93 octane). Other mods have been on the car for 1,000+...

I personally think the downpipe is an easier install (with one person anyways) and would rather that for a bit more noise + pull the actuator fuse! That’s what I would run. Beyond that just do a catback. Easier than an axle back for install
