They are essentially safety hazard lights for each side of the car. So if you're parking on the right hand side of the road youd turn on the drive side lights and flashing will let people know your there. Cars low so hard to notice if parked by a taller vehicle.
Ya new sets came with the correct hardware. But the new sets still came with the wrong screws, so make sure you use the black set and not the silver ones they left with the package.
My rexpeed one is fine for the price you're paying for the rexpeed one it's not bad. You can paint correct alot of it out. The seibon one required drilling

Shorter height for the win. I love the size of the car. Drove 10 hours straight in it and was totally fine. It's my DD in the summer. To low for the winter though. Coming from a BMW I rarely used the back seat anyways. Usually for a bag or two that's it.
Those dont cover the back bottom portion of the fender though. It is right above the wheel. Its there for wheel spacing regulations is what I was told when living in japan.
