Everyone is. Even MG Flasher, which has been historically behind on features compared to MHD and BM3 just released reflex port injection capabilities. Didn't talk about releasing it, actually released it.
I think the Forces will be much better dual duty in California than the ECS02. They are good in the rain (which it rarely does in California), wear like iron for it's capability, and not CRAZY off pace of the super200's.
I'm assuming the OP is in Southern California based on his avatar photo...
Those numbers are incorrect. China is approx 80% automatic. Japan is 95%.
Also population does not mean car ownership. In India, car ownership is right around only 7% of the population. China is right around 20% of the population owning cars.
USA? 91% of the population owns a car.
India...
Def NOT the USA as you mentioned. Over 95% of cars here are automatic. Europe also has more autos than manuals now. Over 70% are automatics. I believe South Africa has the highest manual transmission usage at around 40%
So no, most of the world do not drive cars with manuals. Most drive...
How many miles a day? If mainly a daily, I would lean towards the Conti Forces. if you want to be the fastest on track, A052/RE71RS/CRS are all within tenths of each other but wear out fast.
The redshift's are just BC coilovers. Def avoid those if you like actual good handling.
S3 trash.
510's are okay.
Personally, I would get Ohlins and add camber plates. It's super easy
Hey look, Motul 8100 X-CESS 5w40 is in the list as approved oils by BMW. The same oil I use and the same oil people cry about as not being approved. Weird...
If you use 0w20 C5 LL+ oil, then you need to send it to Femto.
If you use 295 wide tires on OEM wheels, also have to send it to Femto.
If you owned or own a Corvette, Femto.
100% agree. GT3 or no Porsche for me. It's basically the difference between a 320i BMW and a BMW M3, but with an insanely different price spectrum.
However, I think the GT3 is INSANELY overpriced for what it is. Like I stated above, I give them a hard time on track and I spent at least $130k...
I put the AMS ones on the week I bought the car, and honestly I always forget I even have them until a thread like this pops up. They look OEM and work.
Bleh, why track a stock Supra. I have spent less than $40k and have zero issues with most GT3/GT3RS. It's the 911 cup cars that I have a hard time with. GT4's have zero chance.
Here is an example against one of the faster local 992 GT3's, it's even modified. I was basically playing with him as...
