From what I have read (have not tried).....
1: Push start button (I think it needs to be in diag mode, maybe not)
2: Push the lever twice in to N
3: Push the lever to N and hold for 5 seconds
4: Transmission is now disengaged for 15 minutes after which it will re-lock itself.
Are you still on stock tires and stock suspension? If so, thats just the way the car handles. I let a handful of people drive my car when it was bone stock and nearly every single person spun the car. Good tires and suspension go a very long ways.
Productive night. Took it off roading in my tax guys parking lot, then washed it. Keeping it parked until we leave to Vegas on Friday morning. Also finally manged to turn over 10k miles!
Nah, I would just move back in with the parents and live in their back house (rent free) until the market settles down. Then buy a house outright with the cash I made by selling my house plus the money I save every month from not owning a house. Win win.
Hopefully the course you are running on is smooth. The stock tires like to lose big chunks on rough courses. If its 50° out, I would start at around 28 psi. 30 psi warm seemed to be the sweet spot for them.
I am on the side of you guys are crazy to rent. If I was to rent a house similar to mine, rent would be double what my house payment currently is. No thanks. Plus, I could sell my house right now and pocket a few hundred thou. Ya, I am going to stick to that.
I run some but they are only 3mm thick. Not really thick enough to care about the quality. They did fit perfectly though. Pretty sure I paid $25 for all 4 haha.
Have you ever tested slow shifting? Like purposely shift slow, let the clutch fully engage and then go back ful throttle? Doing so (with no clutch slip results) would halfway point towards the valve.
Car is back to normal! As expected, rear toe was way off (installed new toe arms). He said it was about +2° one side and -1° the other. Made the 2020 "bump steer" issue feel like it was true haha.
Go big or go home!
Alignment done! Mobile guy was really cool. Says he does TJ Hunts Supra and a couple of the drifters. Going to pull it out and go for a drive here shortly. Hopefully all the odd stuff my car was doing is fixed.
