I don't see that lap timer at the base of the steering wheel making it to production, or the red paddles lol.
It looks good though! I'm pleasantly surprised. Truth be told, it kinda reminds me of modern Mercedes', especially in the front.
Edit:
Looks like there's a heads up display from the...
As I mentioned before, the length of the lens, image sensor size, and distance (not to mention rectilinear distortion) plays a big role in how objects look proportionally in an image. Basically, unless the two images are taken at the same focal distance, on the same sensor, with the same lens...
I'll post this here since it's the right place:
I pulled out the Blues and tried to clear up the smoke, but it is added over the photo so there's no data underneath. Rear tire is wide as all hell though.
As option 1 so aptly says, it is whatever Toyota calls it. Whether or not it will be a bad Supra, that remains to be seen. We gotta take the good and the bad as it comes.
Definitely. It needs the power as well to supplement good driving character. The MKIV was a fast car as well, especially for it's time, and I'm sure Toyota understands that the MKV will have a fair few very potent competitors. The Z51 Corvette especially, at just $~51k. But I still believe that...
As much as I would like to partake in the wet dream that OP has provided us with, that entire list is obscenely unrealistic. The curb weight alone is ridiculous. Also, with an 86x86 engine, you'll be very hard pressed to make that kind of power at 20psi. My Supra is 10.5:1 at 3.0L and made 620hp...
I mentioned this in another thread, but it's very difficult to compare images to represent scale because there is a fairly large amount of perspective change based off of camera sensor size and zoom distance (bg compression).
FWIW, the MKIV and the 86 are fairly similar sizes, but the 86 has a...
My sentiments exactly! I always thought, "Maybe I'm missing something" or "I guess I just need to drive it more", but that was never the case. BMW makes really terrible manuals, and that's all. Journalists gush and gush about the E46 M3, so I thought it had to be game-changing, but it was just...
Def agree with that. That being said, am I in the minority of people who actually prefer a TC Auto (esp the ZF 8-Speed) to a DCT? Having driven both fairly extensively, the ZF 8-Speed is so damn fast (when manufacturer-tuned correctly), that it really serves all but the most hardcore of track...
So I read through the Bimmerpost thread and read an interesting comment by one of their members.
Personally, I'm taking everything with a hefty grain of salt right now until I see some cold, hard facts. Maybe I'm just an optimist, but I still have faith that Toyota knows what they're doing.
You can bet your butt that every single aftermarket manufacturer is gonna make some stuff! Look at the FRS, it literally created a resurgence of 90s "Change Everything" aesthetic that we so fondly remember (lol). I'm sure the Supra will get it's fair share.
