I find it interesting that the TRD/Gazoo WRC race 2litre turbo also has an integrated exhaust manifold. Maybe Toyota's involvement reached the whole B58 line, and directly influenced some of the changes in the TU update?

They both have the B58B30M1 (one of the technical upgrades of the B58). Both feature the integrated exhaust manifold in the head. I don't think it was expected for the Z4 to surprise with 380hp.
