That's actually pretty common for niche products in general. Look up sales for the Nissan Z, Miata, SLK, Z4, and etc. Even the almighty GT-R started at 1,730 units in 2008 and now is down to just 578 units for 2017.

That's odd because the development stories I read said a design is usually frozen or locked in 2 to 3 years prior to production.
Well hopefully one thing they change would be to blend in that fake air vent panel into the door for a cleaner look and a slightly wider front fender would be nice. :D
In that case Tada-san said "low $20ks". I took that as being around $22k. The FR-S was released at $24.2k in 2012. The price differences was only like $2.2k, not to far off IMO.
I don't see what the big fuss is. Other members have also said the car was shown to dealers late last year.
