BMW is offering remote start upgrade thru BMW app for applicable engines. B58 is one of them. As stated before, not sure how that's applying to Supra.
If Supra is in the garage, surely it's not needed, but when you're DDing and parked it in an open lot, not necessarily even snowy but cold...
Don't have to. Advised. Like any Windows driver/software you install, but more serious as you may brick it....
If you're not savvy with these, just follow the PDF guide that's on the forums. There's hardly anything else you'd need...
It doesn't disable start/stop at all!!. It remembers the last setting. So, go in. Disable/turn off start/stop on your vehicle. Go in Bimmer. Enable the setting
I have ECO Pro on my new vehicle. Does exactly what this article says and what @rotary heart mentioned:

There's a superficial gauge that shows how much it's saving compared to normal mode. In junction with...
I could suggest a different route if you're ok with working on Excel.
The PowerAutomate, IFTTT, etc. work wonders when it comes to logging basic stuff. You can even get it to trigger actions when you stop at your favorite gas station..
Imho they work better with Android, but for your purposes I...
I totally agree with you. I guess I had fixated on the issues with Android/iOS on BM3 in mind.
BM3 needs data connection to work to download... and phones are a bit finnicky when it's connected via ethernet without internet and using wifi for internet... Anyhow all good :) wired ftw!
I'm in the...
I had this happen as well in my new car as well. I feel like it's some background app eating up cpu and ram and not flushing the memory. Could be CarPlay itself as well. What I encountered recently is I was in the car in the cold waiting for the wife, engine on, playing YT Music. No other...
I always wondered but never researched it, probably because I won't find a simple answer, it's great that cell phone and laptop, well even car batteries charge up to a healthy 80% charge and consider it full for battery longevity, great. What I don't know is, what's the logic control mechanism...
For home network I'd agree with you, but you're introducing another adapter and finicky WiFi to Ethernet switching handled by software. BT came a long way and is robust nowadays I'd say ..
Check your previous comment about "it works with iphone"...
I was impressed with, I think 2019, rental Malibu that had active phone cooling. It's a remedy for sure, but didn't have any issues with the stupid iPhone warning me it's overheating, can't deliver peak performance and it's shutting down.
I'm not on the program, but my current company is...
As I'm getting older and lazier, bundled with cops ticketing you for few seconds of fun, noise regulations, other buzzkills like EVs, I'm slowly dying inside. Not kidding
I do seek full autonomy during commute these days and sometimes I'm like, shit who cares, give me Smart 4-2 with...
