Last March was the prime time to get one. I got mine for $7k off MSRP back then. I wasnt really looking to buy one just yet but when they offered me that deal, kind of hard to say no.
You should try a 1/2 gallon of spilt milk in the trunk. That was my experience in the first 24 hours or so of ownership. Lasted a good 2-3 months... hours of cleaning does not make up for the smell.
Yours is Turbulence grey? Your avatar looks like its the matte grey. The one I saw was Turbulence.
Just saw another Supra. First one I have seen in a while actually. Brand new (still had paper plates) silver one going down La Cadena in Colton.
I think I have posted in this thread before but since it's been a while and things are progressing, here are my thoughts now.
I am not going to compare the 2 out of the box since i am a believer that the Supra will be better. If the z really is going to be 10k cheaper, I am going to look at it...
Do the SD officers just have nothing else to do but pick on you? The only time I get pulled over is when I get caught speeding, which luckily hasn't been in years.
Its extra sunny out and 75°. You better believe I drove the Supra to work today! No hibernation for me. However, on my lunch time drive, this song popped up and reminded me of how this thread has been going.
I just put pirelli p zeros on my DD (over powered fwd car) and I am impressed. My old Falken 510s were terrible in comparison. Before, I had issues with 3rd gear traction. If I hit a bump or the front end lifted, tires were spinning. You couldn't use 1st or 2nd gear. Now i can actually go full...
Well guys, working on the Supra right now. Ran into a minor snag. I need a spacer for the banjo. Need about 1/2". Apparently there is a lip that goes around the bolt hole that gets in the way. I didn't remember being there when I changed my oil last time, but again that was like 8 months ago...
I stay away from GMR these days. Way too many horror stories from back in my teenage days. Seen multiple people crash, couple people almost go off the side of the mountain, one of my friends died in an accident and I have been almost run off the road so many times its not even funny. Lots of...
Thanks!
You know, I have never felt like the front end isnt planted. Its the rear that needs help. I am going to be doing springs, sways and SPL bits all at the same time so I hope it makes it a completely different car, in a good way.
Alright guys. The last part I was waiting for came in today. I am going to go ahead and dump my oil early and get this all installed. If I can somehow come up with enough energy after work, I will do it tonight. Dont count on it though.
