These are the Euro spec Eibach springs that lower .8". Save yourself some time and money from ordering them in from Poland! Used for about 500 miles. Ended up going to coilovers. They ride like stock and give the car a great stance. Located in San Bernardino CA. Asking $200 picked up or $250...
I used these tires for 2 days at auto-x and maybe 1500 street miles. They still have a lot of life left in them. Only have 2. Asking $300 picked up. Will ship at buyers expense. Located in San Bernardino CA.
Got my Supra a different companion. CA gas prices suck, so meet the 22 chevy bolt euv as the new daily. It honestly runs pretty good. If anyone wants a clean cobalt ss, there will be one for sale shortly haha.
That sounds very normal to me. In normal mode, you are normally in 7th gear by 35-40mph. It likes to shift at less than 2000 rpm. This is in normal very part throttle driving.
Are you talking foot to floor?
I get that. When I had my Z, I put every single Nismo part on it possible, down to the valve stem caps and key chain. For my Supra, it's more of what kind of carbon stuff can I buy.
I have never filled up at Costco for 2 reasons. 1 - the closest one is 30 min away. 2 - every time I have been there, there are at least 20 cars in each line. Cant even imagine how long that would take.
At least swing by for one. You can go for a ride and see if its something you are interested in.
Yep just missed it! There are going to be more events going on, just not through this series. Look up Cal Club auto-x. They run like every other weekend.
Its all good! Wasnt the best weekend to...
It's kind of a personal preference. Some people love one and hate the other. Some like both, like me.
Pros of auto-x
Less of a chance to wreck
Safe place to learn the limits of the car
Cheaper
Less wear on the car
HPDE
Way more track time
Can't beat going really fast
Good for pucker moments
The weather was just about perfect this weekend. No other Supras showed up. Ya @Msoupe I am talking about you haha. Since I won the last race, I got bumped to the pro class. Still ended up taking 2nd! Its now summer break and I might have some time to get more parts put on. Next race is Sept...
Lowering springs really arent meant for track use. Ideally, you only want the car 1/2" lower than stock. Anything lower messes with the geometry too much and will make your car handle worse. No one makes 1/2" lowering springs. The Eibach Euro springs are the closest thing at .8" drop. But they...
Weekend filled with racing for me. Ended up 2nd. The 315s all around made a huge difference! Well the Ohlins did too. Now summer break and hopefully enough of a break to get the rest of my parts installed.
Forgot to mention, I had to run this race on the stock tune. My JB4 was freaking out on...
It's not only that but it's for wear patterns. You can tell when a problem is starting, figure out what it might be and stop something really bad from happening before it happens (in most cases). Best to start from your first oil change right?
