[off topic] buffeting: I hadn't realized buffeting was such a big issue for many. I've never ever partially or fully lowered the windows above 50mph in my life. [/off topic]
kudos ichitaka, I wasn't aware you were still actively in discussion. That's great of Tada-san to even hear people out.
I believe you can in individual options. I haven't done this for stop-start as I'm using Sport mode all the time, but I did change the behavior of lane departure. Every time I turn the car on, lane departure is automatically disabled.
My car came with this gem as added option, the cargo tote. I haven't used it yet. I don't like moving parts. Yet to find a sturdy storage option. haven't needed it too much just yet.

I also don't understand why this is a "secret" menu and why I have to press a button 10 seconds and try to find the right line to see my oil temp, which comes rather standard to all modern cars these days....
Sorry to be that guy, but there are few PDI topics that discuss what steps are taken during. Someone posted the individual steps for taking it out of transpo-mode. Please search for it.
Not everyone's experience, but my radar sensor required adjustment. That was discovered during PDI when the...
Sorry, I had to rotate them, it's painful for my neck :)
1. I have rattle coming from somewhere between the driver seat and rear. I don't think it's the door. Haven't bothered me so much so that I've tried to locate the source.
2. I have the premium. Not as dim as yours, but I also feel...
Congrats!!
Amazing that you got delivery of Premium while people are still waiting for LE's. So weird of Toyota.
Toyota needs to learn a thing or two. Surely it's manufactured in another country, but I just watched another C8 video. They have the car in dealers all over with all sample...

PW's brother looks very much like PW. I believe they used him to finish the previous one. I wouldn't be surprised if they use motion...
Not just driving but overall impressions below:
First 2 posts really sum up my impression driving impression. I'm currently DD'in, as well. (maybe off for 1-2 days). Transmission definitely is crisp. Don't have any problems with manual upshift or downshift. In auto it's quite fast and...
I couldn't find the study done by one magazine, but higher octane does help with HP, especially on FI engines. I'd say depends on compression ratio and chance of knock. Buy higher octane, you may not be able to burn all. Buy lower, you'll get lower energy output. chemical engineering 101.
Here...
Despite the engine and looks of front end, I can't say that I like it from the back. looks too busy. I don't like the exhaust either. Contrary to rear, front end looks empty. Logo is missing from this proto vehicle. Looks better with it. Maybe vent or something is needed..
Oh and the wing! Oh...
Let her drive it once. That should solve the problem :)
Sorry to hear that! I feel your pain! Your wife does seem to have a point there though regarding finances.
I know lease terms aren't great, but perhaps you can still lease it with cheaper monthly payments..
No, I don't see a 12V charger anywhere in the trunk that's mentioned on the manual:
The black/red box in the toolbox is the tire fix kit called TireFix
One more picture, not related, but a member asked about it:
Despite how it looks in the picture, meter and tow hook are aligned on the left.
