Yea surface rust on high-iron content turbo turbine housings is perfectly normal. Just like brake rotors.
The center cartridge on these turbos surface rust the most. Here was my stock turbo:
Oil report after 23 track days, the last three of them being with the Pure 700 turbo and tune. 10,140 total miles.
Motul 8100 XCESS 5w/40 since 1500 miles.
The front of my car felt a bit floaty before adding the front sway bar. It all went away when I added the front bar.
We are both in the same camp. I see bars as suspension tuning tools after you upgrade the core of the suspension. (Which I had)
Depends on the track/organizer/day/month for sure. I tracked for 15+ years in California and now on my second year here in the NorthEast.
The real eye opener is adding up entry fee AND track insurance. It sure adds up. ;)
how would that happen? It would be the same with or without the pucks. You are positioning the big rubber rectangle squares that come with the quickjack sideways right? If you are using them inline with the quickjacks, then I could see that being a little iffy.
I use them like this, you can...
Zero need for those pucks with the quickjacks. I don't use them and my jack points still look brand new.
I just slide the quickjacks under and lift like you stated. The quickjacks come with those big dense rubber rectangles.
You forgot to list your panache for sightseeing during laps.
Anyone that tracks in the NE and states Palmer isn't challenging is indeed just sightseeing.

Who wants these for FREE*?
*Two conditions need to be met:
1. The best insult posted about the following photo of my ugly old ass checking my tire pressures at the track wins the brake...
I run the front Cusco bar only. OEM rear. All by choice. Made a significant difference in the feel of the front of the car. Proof is in my lap times. Modding cars is not one size fits all.
Just added some more data with my Wagner intake manifold: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/intake-manifolds.9182/page-20#post-286090
Hood vent should be here in a week or so.
The GT4 has the whole front opened up for a bunch more cooling, no cruise radar thing in the way, etc. They still run...
