I also put a deposit down this week on a 2035 model that I know nothing about, the dealer also knows nothing but where totally fine taking my money.
I hope it ends up being a car.
All that because you moved the steering wheel while pushing the car? I've done that in almost every single car I have owned with zero issues.
Why is it so fragile? Seems odd.
Again, that glow is 100% normal. Your post made it sound like it's a bad thing which is inaccurate. 100% normal.
People pay good money for shielding that keeps that heat in the turbo for better exhaust response.
This is 100% normal on a turbocharged car after going WOT a bunch at night. Same thing during the day, just harder to see the glow. Most cars have heatshielding on the exhaust manifold. Supra does not, so easier to see. Cat or not. My Evo did that 100% stock and also now at 700hp with no cat...
Be careful with that. I had a friend that stored a car exactly like that years ago and moisture was trapped because of the plastic cover. Mold grew and ruined some of the paint.
I thought it was odd at first too but now after owning the car I realized they did it so the driver would be surrounded by red. Makes sense if you think about it that way.
