Hey guys. Trying to find information on the CRS tire in the rain. I could swear somebody has commented on it, particularly in this thread. My search is coming up empty.
Cliff notes?
Headed to Chuckwalla in December and wondering if I should run my track tires or just swap to the OEM stuff.
I settled on a "classic" exotic. It's nice enough for dates but sporty enough for track days. It's actually track focused - no CC, no cup holder. ?
But it's also very nice just to be in. ????
No more being a track rat for me. I did competitive track days this season and it was a lot of fun, but a huge component was missing since none of my friends do track days anymore.
There's no more competitiveness between us, no more bench racing, teaching each other to get better, and talking...
I have a used VSRF catted downpipe that will be available. I never installed it but it is used.
I'll have the Wheels available, too. They include TPMS and the tires still have plenty of track days left.
It's a sad day for Kirro. The garage is now full of other toys so she got kicked to the backyard, under the patio cover until she sells.
To tell the truth, I feel kinda bad. ?
It's the same as being under a carport, but still......
You guys are weird. Before the Supra, I had car that was 430whp, 3150lbs, and AWD. The Supra is ridiculously fast for it's power rating. Also a torque monster.
Obviously anyone who could adapt to that car would be fast. Seems like not everyone can. Add to that experience and a great awareness/race craft and I think there could be two of three drivers that *could* be in Max's position. Maybe not winning every race by 10 seconds or more, lol, but first...
