I see. I figured this would introduce pressure seeing how it's coming from air forced from front. I thought we usually vent rear or top.
Good stuff. Carry on ?
Do you want air coming through, from an aero point of view? Usually we want the wheel wells sealed unless going full race car with no lines and vents on top of arch.
Or does the Supra have different needs?
I see I'm on there group by list. I messaged the guy on Instagram asking which wheel I need (they only just BMW) and he sent me to a link to their website. It's about $100 more if I order that way. So, I guess I will wait for them to contact me via the group by so I can let them know which wheel...
It mostly is. They won't let us water anything, so there's nothing to catch the rainwater. My front and backyards are nothing but dirt and dried up weeds. Rains make a huge mess.
Most of us probably wouldn't. I had mine off while doing some things and took it for a drive. I couldn't tell any difference. Might I, at the track? not sure. I plan to test it out since I see so many people swearing by them. If I don't notice any difference, I'll be leaving it off just to keep...
So, sounds like the MT will provide the involvement everyone wants. The key factor will be: do you fit? I've driven cars where I just couldn't get a seating position that I liked and hated it. Off the top of my head is a '00 Mustang GT that I sold because of how sucky it was to fit in. I had to...
Same. I picked up mine with 1900 miles and plan on keeping it until it dies. Since I'm not into EVs, this may be one of the last fun cars I'll have a chance to own LOL
I'm with you guys: I remember when customer service was a thing. Vendors were happy to have customers and treated you like it. I never believed "the customer is always right", by the way.. because we aren't. But I do miss the days where the customer was respected. The internet has ruined a lot...
One thing that has worked REALLY well for me is this stuff. I even tested it on the front brake rotors of my race car. I coated the brake calipers then put regular vinyl stickers on. Lap after lap, the vinyl shows no signs of heat. It's crazy. I now coat every all my hot parts with it. My...
Congrats and welcome. One thing I keep saying to people: I have to admit these things are really beginning to grow on me. The more I drive it, the more I like it. I'm sure you will feel the same.
I made my third attempt to make the CEL for my cat go away. Fingers crossed. Third time's the charm, yes??
then it's @JackieD86 time: Exhaust is next. Then coilovers. Then going for some PBs at my local track. :headbang:
I'm looking at going with an AFE. I want it to have a muffler on the quiet side and open on the "Sport Mode" side. I live in CA so need to have a nice, quiet mode.. but want it loud enough to hear through a helmet for track days. I do have a catted VSRF downpipe. Any opinions on how it will...
Orange is the color I use for all my stuff. Can we make requests? LOL Otherwise, I say it's awesome. Will it be detachable to wash? Or easy to replace with spares? I work on my cars a lot and may or may not have trouble remembering to wash my hands before touching stuff.
A friend of mine does paint so is getting me my yellow. I have to fix the front of the car where a dealer put holes for a license plate. I may as well paint over the reflectors, too.
Opening quickly with gloves on would be a major benefit.
That would get me interested.
A negative I'm finding about this car, is that some of the parts that I would like to use don't serve much purpose but are priced like race car parts LOL
I.E. I was looking up painted pieces of plastic to...
