  1. Question regarding canards

If you are using canards for track use, rivets are best. If for looks, 3m tape is fine. We promise not to laugh :P
  2. Lets see those 18" wheel setups!

Oooh. You are on the struts still? Yep. That will do it haha. I've had to be very patient, buying wheels and tires, until I get the coilovers on LOL. Yep, that's why. It's tough, because I'm not a fan of black wheels...and I have to look at them every time I get into the car ?
  3. brake pads for track use

Good luck, dude! You'll have it fixed in no time.
  4. brake pads for track use

You want them really hot. Each manufacturer usually has their own procedure. Check their website. Try the bedding them in and see if it helps. I've had to sand the old material off before starting over, once (too much street driving after bed in/track day) but hopefully you won't need to worry...
  5. Best catted downpipe ??

Stock exhaust, wow. I just swapped to a catted DP but haven't driven it yet. We'll see how it goes. Would be nice to NOT have to buy an exhaust. ?
  6. brake pads for track use

Sounds like you forgot to bed the pads in so got uneven material transfer.
  7. Best catted downpipe ??

Which exhaust are you using? I like that the farts seem to disappear from the shifts.
  8. Lets see those 18" wheel setups!

Out of curiosity, what the reason for buying wheels in the spec you want but still running spacers?
  9. wheeliedub's 21' Drag Build

    Man, don't I know it ... ???
  10. wheeliedub's 21' Drag Build

Sometimes I miss the simplicity of drag racing. More money, more power, more tire, go faster. I'm over here tuning suspension and aero and crap ?
  11. What did you do to your Supra today?

I can't bring myself to track a car with an OEM cat... Knowing what's happening to the turbo. ? I decided to make an exception if it helps the car to live longer and happier. ?
  12. JB4 & OBD Splitter

Thicker is okay. I'm just not into the weird looking "thumb grooves". Makes me think "Pep Boys". ? Just not for me. I'm sure others dig it. There's one posted, in a thread on this forum, that I really like. Exactly what I want, minus the LEDs
  13. What did you do to your Supra today?

The exhaust moves juuuust enough to slide the DP out. Having an extra set of hands, to pry the exhaust back, makes it easier.
  14. What did you do to your Supra today?

Got the downpipe *almost* off. ? Exhaust disconnected... Having trouble breaking the v-band loose to pop it off the bracket. Eventually I'll win and the new one will go on.
  15. 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback Makes Global Debut During Honda Civic Tour “Remix” Virtual / Civic Type R

That's all fair. Yeah, I was thinking the global market, but considering local, I can see what you mean. I still have a soft spot for those hatches, though ... I wouldn't mind have a couple of them. ?
  16. JB4 & OBD Splitter

Sweet. So. Stock wheel. A bit thicker. Same shape, no thumb grooves on the front. Led shift lights. 1. How much? 2. What's needed to make the LEDs work?
  17. 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback Makes Global Debut During Honda Civic Tour “Remix” Virtual / Civic Type R

The old Veloster, i20n, i30n, GTi, Focus ST, Fiesta ST, Megane RS, Cupra Leon (I think), and I could go on. All are FWD that the CTR could compete with. The AWD cars you list are a different segment. Not something Honda is after with the CTR. What you're wanting is a different car.
  18. 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback Makes Global Debut During Honda Civic Tour “Remix” Virtual / Civic Type R

But, the R and RS have always been AWD. They are separate models, not newer, AWD versions of the GTi and ST. Same with the GRs. If Honda did something like a Type R, but AWD, it would probably have a different name, too.
  19. Issues with front bushes

Bushes are making a comeback. According to RedTube, anyway ...
