A bit off topic, but here goes.

I posted news about this concept car on other forums. People keep saying it kinda resembles FT-1 no?

There is the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on May 22nd. Past event have included cars like the M1 Homage Concept, GINA Concept, 328 Hommage Concept, Zagato Coupe & Roadster, and Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe Concept.
So if FT-1 is priced at $60k; what do you guys think the BMW counterpart "Z5" will start at? I'm thinking maybe around the $70k range? That would make it higher than the M4 at $64k, and lower than the SL and 911 which both starts at $84k.
This seems to be following the path of the LF-LC, so there may not be a 'FT-1 II'.
On a different note surprisingly, Lexus is still bring the LF-LC to autoshows despite debuting at Detroit in 2012.

I think you need to look at the bigger picture my friend. Sure it isn't huge numbers like a Mustang or Camaro, but still pretty good for a $50k+ car. So basically a month or two of C7's sales could be a year worth for the FT-1.

I recall reading on BimmerPost or BimmerFeast awhile back something like this:
Z1: Coupe
Z2: Roadster
Z3: Coupe
Z4: Roadster
Z5: Coupe
Z6: Roadster
And yes, there has been rumors saying the new platform will also used for a new Z3/Z4 and 86/FR-S for awhile now.
The C7 is kinda a hot mess to me. The taillights ugly, unpainted trims, and overall it looks a little riced out IMO. The car just doesn't flow very well unlike the C6. At least the interior looks nice.
