I would say it depends. With the 86, what is the percent of buyers that are Toyota or Subaru enthusiasts, and how many just brought it based on how cool it looks? Its hard to gauge. It appears to be more of a reskin, rather than a rebadge. Honestly, your average car buyer probably isn't even going to know or even care. To them what matters most is looks, price, and performance.
