A local friend of mine went through 4 engines in his GT350 that was primarily used for track use.
All through warranty since he bought the car new but it spent more time sitting at a Ford dealer than actually being used.
One of the all time greatest sounding motors I won't lie. I considered...
Those are just the Morizo seats.
Could they be used? Probably not, because this car is not made in the same plant and those are not BMW supported seats.
I think all you will see for the next year Supra is some color changes and maybe wheels.
BMW isn't renewing the Z4 so I'd say after MY24...
This is as close as you can get to a Z4 Coupe, so yea it is.
And don't tell me you really believe them when they say they went their "separate ways".
Engineering is always limited by budget. This was a joint venture meaning that each "team" had limited resources to begin with. I won't say...
I haven't driven my A91 since I got it in November. It's currently sitting at 8 miles. All this talk makes me wanna double down on my current fleet and sell the Supra.
At the end of the day, it's really a Z4 and if I can't mod it for fun, it's kind of pointless at least for me.
Economy is...
TJ Hunt just roasted his stock clutch.
Apparently his contact at ACT will be making a clutch for these cars.
If it's not SouthBend, I'm all ears.
You can look up the video, he's popular amongst the children who use words like "drip" and "bet" and "lit".
No cap, frfr.
The chances of a Supra with an S motor installed and sold by Toyota is about zero.
If an aftermarket company did the swap and sold some, that's something else entirely.
But BMW won't let that happen even if it was for a small amount of cars.
They stopped doing skunkworks projects in the...
If they do a final edition Supra, I hope it's only a 3.0 Premium, available with manual as an option, and finally has matching fucking door cards.
They're gonna lock ECU's and give us shitty iDrive, just offer a stick and make the interior look uniform and I'm pretty sure most folks are game.
I worked for BMW when they were developing the M2. I actually got to drive a pre production example at Spartanburg and give feedback on the car.
The M2 is:
Better setup for track use out of the box (brakes, suspension, sways etc.)
Interior layout is better in general because it's not a Z4...
The real question is:
Do you want to explain to folks why you bought a fugly car?
The G87 looks like an F87 M2 that came out of the mold deformed.
Also, the S58 sounds horrendous.
Lastly, iDrive 8 is
OP, it's time to face reality.
You gotta sell the car.
JK, just tell them that the bumper paint match is garbage and you want it done better from a better shop and have them front the bill.
Worst case, they won't. Best case, they do. Medium terribleness, you pay half.
