I think the mark ups that dealers are telling you vs. what the mark ups are for cars they physically have is different.
I had a few dealers in the Boston area tell me 20k over for an A91.
Only a few of them got A91's and out of all of them only 1 stuck with the 20k over. Most were 10-15k...
I haven't started driving mine as of yet but I'm no noob when it comes to driving stick. Actually all of my cars are manuals. I drive stick everyday hahaha.
I think the combination of a CDV (typical BMW) and a low torque rated clutch (typical Toyota using leftover BMW parts incorrectly...
I had hoped that it would not have to come to this but this may be the only way you can really rail on the car.
The VW folks are all too familiar with this when you start adding modifications.
Sad part is that the clutch can't hold stock torque.
I didn't buy this BMW to drive it to CNC's...
SRF is the only brake fluid to run if the car sees actual track use.
The stock BMW brake fluid is decent and is still DOT 4 but I'm thinking of deleting the CDV from day 1.
Look at my sig. I don't like iDrive.
If I could have optioned the Supra without any screen I would have.
Also the G87 throwing the M colors on the door panels is fucking rice.
And M Town or whatever it's called can die. The fad over the division is ruining/diluting it to the max.
Hola,
TBD on the Supra, not sure if I want to keep it but it's a better option for the money than pretty much anything else in this segment.
I have a few other cars that I'm working on currently, but if I were to sell the Supra, I'd probably jump to a 997.1 GT3.
I never jumped on an F80...
As I said over on Bimmerpost, this thing is heinous and is the reason why I bought the Supra actually.
It looks good in no colors, interior is horrid, ID8 is cringe, the manuals in BMW's are pretty much afterthoughts these days, the S58 sounds horrible and the weight of the thing made my...
The purpose of the CDV is for noobs who don't know how to drive stick. It's literally there as a safety.
You can definitely drive a BMW without a CDV even easier on the street.
For example, my E39 M5 from the factory did not come with a CDV. One of the easiest manuals to use probably in the...
