It's dumb, but those pops make the car a lot of fun in my opinion. I know others disagree, but hopefully it's easy enough to get them back in the 2021 cars.
You don't see the contradiction in what you're saying? I mean I'm ok with it, doesn't really matter. Still though, my facts are straight, I'm telling you what the perception was. If you don't wanna accept that then cool, but let's not start putting random words in quotes for no reason.
Things...
You said you wouldn't care if the car got 40mpg or 10mpg and that others shouldn't buy a sports car if that matters. I would absolutely not buy the car if it got 10mpg so I guess I should buy a Prius. That basically seemed to be your point.
No, 1mpg doesn't matter.
I'm sure it will be fine for what it is and yay for more sporty options, but I'm not going to pretend it's a good replacement for the GR Yaris. I know I've voiced my opinion before, but that's a shit apology. Still not interested.
I need to stop being so hard on Bryster, but this is the same guy who said the RC-F was basically a modern version of the 1st gen Celica. It's just a little bit painful sometimes. We're all welcome to our opinions though of course.
I'm way too aware of how module platforms work. I skimmed the article and based most of my response on the title. "Z4/Supra-based" is a bit misleading if that's the case, but I should have read more. Still, I'm not going to, because I don't really want an M2 anyway. :D
They were always awful, but it was at least cool to see at least some form of the car scene in a movie.
I wasn't a fan of imports back in those days, so sitting in a theater with the noise of raspy Honda's being blasted through the speakers was a terrible experience, but I still had a great...
I still don't know how they plan to sell 25k of them without including North America. Not that we would buy a ton of them, but it's gonna take every bit of sales they can get to pull that off.
The wording of the rules makes it sound like maybe they only have to manufacture that many though, so...
Really makes the car look like a joke. This has to be the least creative FnF build that should have been something huge for the return of the Supra. Can't even put some wheels on it? Turrible.
Yeah, this is definitely not standard employee pricing. Going in there with your little employee discount paper takes all other negotiation off the table as well, supposedly.
Tons of discussions online about Super White being single stage, but I did read on a couple of detailing forums that Toyota went to base/clear around 2015 so maybe it's been a fairly recent change.
I may have information that suggests the 45FL....
Low end for tq rating, but aligns with the Porsche options at least.
Not sure if that's right though. Isn't that a lower rating than the current 8hp?
What do you like about the Cusco braces? I wouldn't expect much of a noticeable difference on the street, though maybe the added stiffness could translate to a more responsive turn-in. I think the issues would arise when pushed harder than you're hopefully doing on the street.
